La cuenta atrás para terminar con casi 10 años de silencio discográfico está a punto de terminar. Por ahora Jennifer Lopez ya ha dado el primer paso presentando el videoclip de Can’t get enough, primer sencillo de su nuevo disco de estudio, This is me… Now, que se lanzará el 16 de febrero.

La superestrella mundial ha presentado en la tarde de hoy esta propuesta audiovisual en la que podemos ver una boda soñada de fantasía y ensueño en la que el blanco y los tonos pastel triunfan para mostrar su posible ceremonia nupcial.

Can’t Get Enough, el sencillo debut de su noveno álbum de estudio This Is Me…Now y el vídeo musical, creado por López y el director Dave Meyers (Drake, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Coldplay) son ambos de la Experiencia Musical: This Is Me… Now: A Love Story, que se transmitirá en Prime Video el 16 de febrero de 2024.

La canción fue coescrita y producida en el estudio de su casa en Los Ángeles por Jennifer Lopez, Rogét Chahayed (Doja Cat, Travis Scott), HitBoy (Drake) y Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman (H.E.R, Victoria Monet ). Otros compositores y productores incluyen: Angel Lopez (Jack Harlow), Drew Love (G-Eazy, The Chainsmokers), INK (Beyonce), Prince Chrishan (Meek Mill, Chris Brown) y Brandon Riester de BMG como A&R.

JLo está a punto de arrancar una trilogía musical en la que cierra el ciclo de su historia de amor con Ben Affleck. Hace dos décadas estuvieron a punto de casarse. Eran una de las parejas de Hollywood más envidiadas y This is me… then recogía aquel momento. Pero nada salió como se esperaba y la pareja acabó rompiendo su compromiso.

20 años después los dos protagonistas de esta historia se dieron el sí quiero aunque de manera íntima y privada sin que lo compartieran con nosotros. Ahora toca celebrarlo por todo lo alto con This is me… now, su nuevo álbum de estudio con el que pone fin a una década de silencio discográfico.

This Is Me… Now fue creado durante 2022 y 2023 en el estudio de la casa de López en Los Ángeles y según desvela el sello en una nota de prensa, es “una emocionante trilogía musical que muestra los extraordinarios talentos de la triple amenaza”.
